Wrapping vehicles is something that for a long time was a fleet driven market. More and more we are seeing small to medium sized business using there company vehicles as a means to market their business and services. Do you know a vehicle wrap is???
What is a Vehicle Wrap?
A large vinyl graphic or decal that is applied over the original paint of the vehicle. It is a graphic design developed by our staff with your input, then printed on a special 3M vinyl with lamination, and directly applied or “wrapped” on a vehicle by professional installers nationwide. Vehicle wraps are an alternative to custom paint jobs and is not only more cost effective, but will provide more pop, detail and impact that paint. However, a wrap does not provide for
covering 100% of the vehicle, because some areas are not conducive to adhesive vinyl such as cracks, expansion joints and seams. Therefore, a wrap is not a perfect piece of art when viewing up close but the impact on the road is undeniable.
Are wraps applied to the windows?
Yes, but window wraps are printed on a special perforated vinyl called “window perf” with tiny holes in the substrate that allows the driver to see through the windows. From the inside of the vehicle, visibility is similar to window tinting to the driver. Our material is laminated, which protects from color fading, abrasion and keeps dirt and water from getting into the perforation.
This is just a quick overview. Over the next several days I will be taking you through the process. From start to finish how and why you should consider wrapping your vehicle.
