I did all the research and finally got an appt with a qualified company. Make a great contact, develop a working relationship, get em stoked and BAM! This is the statement I get...
This is probably the most common situation I find myself in with new clients, "What I really want for my campaign is this, but what I can afford is another."
Now here is where the work comes in.
I would like to open up a conversation about how we(sales and marketing professionals) can not only meets the client’s needs but exceed their wildest expectations while "working on a beer budget.....

Who is gonna pay? That is the question you must ask yourself and your prospect.
ReplyDeleteI met with a friend from Toyota. He said I was put into a position and told what the goal was and nothing more. No backing. No support. No guidance.
My friend had starting thinking outside the box but was running into the problem of no budget, support or resources.
I told him you have a brand, TOYOTA. Use it.
I said let me paint you a picture on how to make this work to not only achieve your goals but to far exceed them. By the way it won't cost you anthing and also, if it works Toyota will probably do whatever you tell them afterwards.
You go to a Chic Fil A, you tell them we will bring all our test drive candidates through your drive through and buy them lunch. Chic Fil A pays for the lunch. You also tell Chic Fil A you want to run a monthly showcase of your cars in their lot once and month and put an awesome sign up on location.
Second you contact a fleet oil change company. Theses companies go to corporate locations and do bulk oil changes for employees. You tell them you will sell them a new client. By the way we need you to do the first time for free. You pitch it to the oil change company like this, instead of paying a sales commission, I will sell it at no commission, just apply that money towards the free day.
No you go to corporations and tell them, we want to buy all your employees lunch and give them a free oil change. By the way they get to ride in vehicle of their choosing on top of that.
Who is gonna pay? You just created a no brainer sell to any corporation you approach and you dont have to lay a dime down to do it.
Its unprecedented, unheard of and out of the box. But out of the box is what is going to get you above the rest and to the next level.
